Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale

The Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY) has a mission to inspire and support students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to seek innovative ways to address real-world problems. Launching in fall 2017, we’re building a new center of gravity to help students, faculty, and alumni collaborate more effectively across disciplines, and across ways of thinking about the world.

The Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) provides a focal point for research, education, and outreach to advance business solutions to global environmental problems. The Center joins the strengths of two world-renowned graduate schools - the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies - together with a network of internal and external thought leaders at the business-environment interface. The Yale Center for Engineering Innovation and Design (CEID) empowers students to improve human lives through the advancement of technology. CEID aspires to launch high-impact projects and develop visionary leaders by bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and giving them resources to learn, create and share. The Center seeks to infuse design experiences into student learning through an array of classes and activities. In addition to hosting engineering design courses, CEID holds workshops, lectures, networking events and exhibitions and hosts a competitive CEID Summer Fellowship. Student teams and clubs can also use the Center for meetings and project work.
