Hong Peng, Ph.D.
Hong Peng, Ph.D., M.B.A., has more than 20 years of experience in life science technology licensing and intellectual property management. She has a robust scientific background and extensive experience in negotiating deals and contracts including licensing agreements, sponsored research and other corporate alliances. Hong has been instrumental in establishing and managing the Yale-AbbVie research partnership and formation of NextCure, an immuno-oncology startup. Prior to her current position, Hong was Director of Patents and Licensing at Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute at the New York Blood Center, where she led an operation with an annual royalty income of more than $60 million. She has also served as a Licensing Associate at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Hong holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. in Biology from Peking University of China.
