Brita markets and promotes the work of the Office of Cooperative Research and the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute both internally and externally, connecting faculty, students, postdocs and the public with opportunities at OCR and YEI, writing press releases about Yale startups and innovators and managing online strategy and content production.

Prior to joining OCR, Brita was an editor and freelance writer whose work has appeared on the websites of the New York Times, National Geographic and the Union of Concerned Scientists, Environmental Health News,,, Tech Page One and as well as in many print publications. She is also the author of The Autism Puzzle: Connecting the Dots Between Environmental Toxins and Rising Autism Rates (Seven Stories Press).

Brita holds a B.A. in English from Fairfield University.
